I didn’t provide it at that time because I wanted to test some things first on my machine and when the installation finished, Windows said that IS NOT activated yet in the System properties.

Then, after 3 days of usage and tests of my system I putted my product key and the Windows activated. Now, in my friend’s laptop when the installation process finished , in the System properties is written clearly that Windows is activated!!!

And that the edition of Windows is the same as mine. Normally if what you say is true then in the System properties it must be written that Windows is NOT activated Also, as I already said, the installation process didn’t ask me to put the product key of my friend at installation time.

Neither later when I logged in the Windows asked me to provide anything No, it was not connected to the internet When the installation process finished and Windows Logged-In, in the System properties was written that Windows is activated! Then after the 3rd restart I connected to the Internet to change and activate the correct product key And then the system upgrade process began running automatically.

I want to note also that the Media Creation Tool didn’t give me the option to select the Edition of Windows 10 at the step you can choose the Language, Edition and Architecture.
